The Center serves as a focal point for all services and programs provided by the Older Americans Act and Franklin Co. Council on the Aging. These services include the following: transportation; hot meals served at the Center 5 days a week, along with the Home Delivered Meals program; educational classes; recreational activities and other services.
Eligibility: Membership is free to those who are age 50 and older and their spouses and a resident of Franklin County
Cost: Donations are accepted for social services and meals.
Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, plus special events/activities as scheduled on weekends and nights

The Senior Companion Program recruits active seniors to provide free in-home care and social support to the frail elderly. Services include socialization, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, and respite care for primary caregivers. SCP services are provided free of charge. Clients receiving the services must be seniors and have a physical/mental condition that results in the need for in-home care and social support to retain their highest level of independence.

None (Senior Companion Program)
